The best contouring secret I learned in 2022 that I’m sharing with you here, in 2023, is that foundation on top is key. It naturally sculpts your face without making you look TV-ready at the grocery store. Here’s step-by-step my process for light, natural contouring.
Start with SPF.
Do a light face contouring with this and a contouring brush. I’ll use a smaller brush to sculpt my nose with the same product.
Then I’ll apply concealer under my eyes, between my eyebrows, chin, sides of nose, whatever you like.
The key to all of this is in the next two steps.
Take a beauty blender and blend in everything you just did with no foundation on.
Then apply your foundation over the top with a big fluffy brush.
Finish it off with a generous slathering of blush, finishing powder, and lip liner + gloss. I will meet you anywhere in this look.
