In 2017 my sister and I would try typing “fam” after a company’s name at checkout to see what kind of discount we could suck out of them. And just like any time I need to hail a cab in a backless dress, Doen came through for us! That code doesn’t give 30% off to any bottom-feeder who tries anymore, but I had the absolute honor of collaborating with Doen recently and I feel just as much a part of the fam now as I did when I was shamelessly taking advantage of their generosity six years ago.
