As a twin mom and self-diagnosed aggressive consumer who has walked the streets in both Wet Seal and designer items at different times in life, I feel uniquely qualified to share the great, quality designer pieces I have my eye on, and their affordable, approachable twin. Right now, there are some fantastic dupes out there for spring that I wanted to spend more than 24 hours of our collective attention on.
*It should go without saying that designer pieces are going to fit, lay, feel, and last much better than their more affordable counterpart. But I think it also goes without saying that it’s unrealistic to assume that the majority of shoppers have the privilege of being able to afford the more expensive version every (any?) time, but still might want the look. I personally feel ok about that.*
